Description

A Broadway playwright, his conniving producer, and his actress wife hatch a plot to guarantee their new play will be a success: they fake the suicide of the playwright on opening night. They then high-tail it up to Vermont where the playwright hopes to disappear, as he hates the public spotlight anyway. However, after a few weeks complications ensue when both the playwright and his agent are suspicious that his wife and the producer are plotting to kill him for real... or are they?
